• MHS grad donates $25K to UA Land of Opportunity Scholarship (kvom.com) — A Morrilton High School graduate, Todd Hale, and his wife Susan have pledged $25,000 to the University of Arkansas' Land of Opportunity Scholarship, specifically earmarked for Conway County students. Their gift will help local students cover tuition, fees, housing, and also connect them with mentoring, academic coaching, and internships across Arkansas.
   

• Little Rock Diocese Accepts Six New Seminarians (arkansas-catholic.org) — One of the Diocese of Little Rock's six new seminarians, 18-year-old Graham Combs, comes from Sacred Heart Church in Morrilton, giving the local parish a direct connection to this year's class. He'll spend a preparatory year at the House of Formation in Little Rock, joining 25 other men now discerning priesthood for the diocese.
