• John Brown University gets $34.5 million to support four new health care master's programs (nwaonline.com) — John Brown University in Siloam Springs is getting a $34.5 million gift to launch new physician assistant and nurse practitioner master's programs, aimed at tackling Arkansas' shortage of advanced medical professionals. The funding will expand campus facilities, endow faculty positions, and create scholarships, with online and residential programs rolling out between 2028 and 2030 to serve Northwest Arkansas' growing health care needs.
