• Forestry Forward Conference Encourages Landowners and Forestry Professionals To Join Regional Conversation (salinerivernews.com) — Landowners and forestry professionals in Texarkana are invited to a two-day Forestry Forward Conference on September 23–24 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. • Basic plane maintenance program takes off in November at Texarkana College (texarkanagazette.com) — Texarkana-area students will soon have access to a new FAA-approved Light-Sport Repairman Maintenance course at Texarkana College, combining online study with hands-on training at the Aviation Technology building. The program supports local high school aviation partnerships and aims to build a skilled workforce for the planned maintenance facility at Texarkana Regional Airport, potentially creating strong career paths close to home.
