The retailer recently announced plans to invest in more than 130 store remodels nationwide this year, including 10 locations across the Golden State. The projects are expected to be completed by early fall.

According to the company, the remodeled stores will introduce a new "food-forward" layout that converts more merchandising space into expanded sections for fresh produce, dairy, meat, and grab-and-go meals. The redesign is also intended to highlight Target's Good & Gather and Favorite Day brands.
