73-Year-Old CA Hiker Found After Snowstorm Hit: Report
Authorities located a 73-year-old man after he disappeared while hiking through an unexpected snow storm.
KERN COUNTY, CA — A 73-year-old man who disappeared in a freak snow storm while hiking in California was found after he was missing for two days, authorities said.
Gab Song was found in "good condition" on Thursday the Ventura County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.
Search and rescue teams were deployed throughout the Mount Pinos area on Tuesday to search for Song, who had set out to hike around Nordic Base Camp and be home before dark, his family told NBC.
