RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — Federal investigators have joined the search for a missing 74-year-old man from Rancho Cucamonga whose bank accounts were drained and hasn't been seen since last year.
On May 4, Nai Ping Hou was reported missing, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
In July, authorities said they "determined extensive fraudulent transactions were conducted using Mr. Hou's bank accounts around the time of his disappearance."
They also said investigators believe Hou's cell phone was used by an unknown person who impersonated Hou to communicate with family members.

Hou was described as 5-feet 7-inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has black hair, black eyes, and a birth mark on his left upper shoulder. Investigators are also looking into information about a silver Toyota Yaris in connection to Mr. Hou's disappearance.
