These Are The Best BBQ Restaurants In CA, According To Yelp Ranking

Nothing says summer like a plate of good barbecue, and California has some of the best, according to a recent ranking from Yelp.

The business review website recently published a list of the nation’s top 100 barbecue restaurants based on volume and ratings of reviews from Yelp Elite Squad members.

In total, 14 Golden State spots made the list, with two in the top 10. The No. 1-ranked restaurant nationwide was Little Miss BBQ-University in Phoenix.

Mazra in San Bruno was ranked third. With a 4.5-star rating and over 2,400 reviews, Yelp noted its Mediterranean flavors, family recipes, wood-fired meats and noteworthy rotisserie chicken.

Coming in fifth was San Francisco’s San Ho Won, which offers an elevated take on Korean charcoal barbecue in the city’s Mission District, according to Yelp.
