Golden State Ranked No. 1 Best State For Camping
California topped national ranks in camping thanks to its accessible and accessible parks, trails and campgrounds.

CALIFORNIA — Spring is in full swing and prime camping season is upon us. Fortunately for residents, California is considered one of the best states in the nation for camping, according to a new study from Lawn Love.
California topped national charts thanks to its plethora of high-quality parks, trails and gear, as well as the incredible variety in natural landscape.
"Whatever interests you, the Golden State has it," the report said. "From traipsing through the Mojave Desert to hiking the redwood forests to surfing the coast."

In addition, two west coast states also ranked high on Lawn Love's list. Washington nabbed the silver spot for its lush green landscape, expansive forests and wildflower field. Oregon rounded out the top 10 for its beautiful national parks.
California earned its no. 1 spot for having the most campsites, most acres of national state parks and the most attractions.

So, what's the catch? Lawn Love reported that while the West Coast has some of the best camping in the nation, residents are highly encouraged to save up cash prior to their trip thanks to notoriously high costs in the states.
