Colorful Coastline: California Photos Of The Day

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — Patch reader Cheryl Sommers shared these photos taken recently during a drive up Highway 1, north of Timber Cove in Sonoma County.

"God’s beauty to behold during trying times," Sommers said in an email. "The [photo] with the sea of flowers trailing down to the ocean is the most unique scenery I’ve ever seen."
