Dairy Queen Sets 2026 Free Cone Day For March 19

Spring has nearly sprung and Dairy Queen is giving away free ice cream cones to celebrate.
The chain's annual Free Cone Day is set for March 19 this year — the last day of winter.
Ice cream fanatics can head to their nearest Dairy Queen restaurant to enjoy a free small vanilla soft-serve cone. There are a few caveats:

- No purchase is necessary to receive a free cone, but not every DQ location is taking part in the promotion.
- At DQ locations inside malls, customers must make a purchase in order to get a free cone.
The chain is also running a sweepstakes where customers can enter a chance to win free cones for a year. More info is available on DQ's website.
