Livermore Police, CHP Announce Checkpoint
The Livermore Police Department and the Dublin office of the California Highway Patrol are operating a sobriety checkpoint Saturday.
LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Police Department and the Dublin office of the California Highway Patrol are operating a sobriety checkpoint in Livermore until 2 a.m.
The checkpoint began at 9 p.m.
The sobriety checkpoint's objective is to reduce the number of drivers on the road who have been drinking, rather than produce increases in DUI arrests.
