'A Random Act': Man Arrested Amid Stabbing Death Of Student, 15
A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a teenage girl at a Northern California high school this week.

STOCKTON, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of entering a high school campus and stabbing a 15-year-old girl to death, authorities said.
The girl was stabbed at Stagg High School, according to Unified School District.
Anthony Gray, 52, was arrested in connection with the stabbing and was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for murder, the Stockton Police Department reported.

"Detectives believe this appears to be a random act and they are trying to determine why this student was targeted," police wrote in a release.
While authorities have not publicly named the girl, her family identified her to KCRA as Alicia Reynaga.

"My daughter didn't have any enemies ... she was a good kid, a great kid ... I just feel like it's a dream. We're just trying to wake up," Manuel Reynaga, Alicia's father, told the station at a vigil for his daughter Monday night.
"This is still an active investigation and we will release more information as it becomes available," police said.
