Calif. Boy's Trump-Themed Celebration 'Makes Parties Great Again'
When her son wanted a Donald Trump-themed birthday party, she made it happen. Then, he mailed his idol a letter. Here's how Trump responded.

STOCKTON, CA — It's not unusual for kids to ask for a themed birthday party. Moms are used to seeking out themed decoration ideas for Marvel action heroes or Disney princesses. But what would you do if your child wanted to throw a Donald Trump-themed birthday party?
When 9-year-old Dylan asked his mother, SueAnn Harbin, if he could have a Trump-themed birthday celebration, she rolled up her sleeves and went to work. For his birthday party, they selected "Make America Great Again," as the theme. Dylan wanted the "Donald Trump suit" to wear for the big day. Done.
Next, Dylan asked for a "Make America Great Again Hat"-shaped birthday cake. That was a little harder. Unable to find a bakery to provide it, she made one herself. Like this one, with the red and white block letters.

Finally, the fake Trump money. Easily ordered, again on Amazon, in stacks of 100, this Trump-faced money is just the ticket for fans entranced by Trump's ready cash supply.
If it's a party about the president, money has to be part of it. After all, asking how much money "The Don" has was one of Dylan's questions in his now infamous letter.
That same fake "Trump" money is now a prized possession. Dylan didn't want to share the fake bills with reporters who visited his Stockton home (see video below), who were there interviewing the family about the birthday party, Pickle's letter to Trump and how it feels to be friends with the president.
"He is the only one in the house who likes Trump," Harbin told news crews from their front yard while Dylan showed off the party goods.
According to Harbin, Dylan, aka Pickle, a nickname earned from earlier Dyl-Pickle days, came home from school after learning about the election. With a buddy named Donald, he decided that Donald Trump was his pick for president.
"He wanted to write a letter, asking Donald Trump to be his friend," Harbin told Fox News. "It was all him, he did everything."
She also encouraged her son to think about other things to ask the president.
"About a month later, he wrote the whole letter (including questions) and mailed it off," she said.
But having the White House answer? That was a complete surprise which according to his mom, brought the boy to tears.
Yes, Pickle. President Trump wants to be your friend, too.
Though a media frenzy ensued after White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the reinstatement of the White House letter reading program, with the inaugural letter to President Trump, penned by Pickle, himself.

The much disputed letter, at a recent press briefing (read the full letter below), was preceded by a call to the Harbin family from the White House, notifying them that Dylan's letter to Trump was received, and his answers would be shared in the White House morning briefing. "We were on our way to a San Francisco Giants game when we got the call," SueAnn shared with FoxNews. "It was pretty amazing that they answered."
Trump, as it turned out, answered every question Dylan wrote in his painstakingly penned letter.
I'm 9-years-old. How old are you?
"Dylan, President Trump is 71-years-old," Sanders said.
How big is the White House?
"The White House is 168-feet-long, it's 70 feet tall on the south side and 60 feet, 4-inches tall on the north side," Sanders answered for Trump. Adding that it has 132 rooms and is approximately 55,000 square feet, and it takes 300 gallons of white paint to cover the exterior.
How much money do you have?
"Dylan, I'm not sure, but I know it's a lot," Sanders replied for the president.
I don't know why people don't like you.
"Me either, Dylan," which received a chuckle from the reporters in attendance.
You seem really nice, can we be friends?
"I'm happy to say, I spoke personally with the president, Dylan, and he would be more than happy to be your friend," Sanders said.
She also expressed that the president wanted to tell Dylan personally that he said "hello."
Also, the Harbin family received an invitation to visit the White House.
"I hope you're watching, Dylan, and if you're ever in Washington, D.C. I hope you'll stop by and let us show you around the White House," Sanders finished.
According to local Stockton KRON4, mom and family will figure out a way to get him there.
