These Are The Best Hospitals In CA, Newsweek Says In New List
40 California hospitals made the list, more than any other state.
CALIFORNIA — The best hospital in California is UCLA Health-Ronald Reagan Medical Center, but 39 others are ranked in Newsweek’s first-ever ranking of America’s Best In-State Hospitals, more than any other state.
Every hospital in the country was eligible for the inaugural ranking for 2024, which includes 600 hospitals across all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The results are based on four data sources, including surveys by Newsweek’s data partner, Statista, of doctors, hospital administrators and other healthcare professionals, as well as patients, and Medicare and Medicaid data.
