This year's Mother's Day is a socially distant one, even for those who live close by. For service members, the distance is even greater.

CALIFORNIA — This year's Mother's Day is a socially distant one, even for those lucky enough to live close to their moms.
For members of the U.S. military, stationed away from home or overseas, the distance is even greater. Happily, the Defense Department put together a set of video greetings from a few service members to their mothers in California, just in time for the holiday.
