3.6 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Thousand Oaks Area

A magnitude 3.6 earthquake happened just outside of Thousand Oaks Monday morning.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — A 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit the Thousand Oaks area just before 8 a.m. Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake could be felt all the way from Ventura in the west to Redondo Beach in the east and out past Santa Clarita to the north. The USGS reported it to be just over a mile deep.

There was no reported damage or injuries.
