Agoura Hills Announces New Dates for Connelly/ Art Show/ Boutique
Agoura Hills reschedules special events due to Woolsey Fires. Michael Connelly event moves to larger venue to accommodate more people!

The city of Agoura Hills announced that the special events
previously scheduled during the Woolsey Fires, impacting so many
local communities, are rescheduled to the following dates:
The One City One Book (OCOB) program with New York Times
bestselling author Michael Connelly originally scheduled on November
13 has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 29, 2018. The location
has also been changed to the Agoura Hills High School Performing Arts
Education Center with 600 seating capacity to accommodate the
extensive wait list and any additional public interest. The program
is in conjunction with Connelly’s book tour of his new release Dark
Sacred Night, in the popular Bosch series and related to the “Bosch”
television series on Amazon Prime. The former Los Angeles Times
reporter will also discuss the unsolved Judy Kanan murder case, a
part of Agoura Hills history. Register at

need not re-register.) Admission is free, but registration is
required for guaranteed seating. The public may also pre-order a book
for $22 when registering to receive and have signed at the event.
Reception begins at 5:30 pm with Connelly speaking at 6:00 pm. The
Performing Arts Education Center is located at 28545 W. Driver
Avenue, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. The OCOB program is sponsored by the
City of Agoura Hills, Friends of the Library, the Los Angeles County
Library—Agoura Hills Cultural Arts Council, and the Las Virgenes

The new date for the Holiday Boutique and Art Show originally
scheduled on November 15 is December 7, 2018 at the Agoura Hills
Recreation and Event Center. The Solo Artist Photography Show
spotlights landscape photographer Brian Valente. The Holiday Boutique
offers specialty gift shopping for handmade candles, jewelry,
woodwork, and more from local artisans. Proceeds help fund the
student scholarships programs sponsored by the Cultural Arts Council.
Admission is free; boutique is open 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and the
public is invited to an artist reception from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The
