Agoura Hills City Council To Meet Virtually At 6 Tonight

The Council will host the first meeting in which the public can use a state-approved process for calling in and submitting comments.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — The Agoura Hills City Council will convene virtually tonight at 6 through video conference to discuss ongoing ways to support the health and economy of the city during the COVID-19 pandemic, and will vote to adopt a resolution to amend the city’s employee handbook to include telecommuting policy. The Council will also discuss non-COVID matters, like environmental building ordinances and approving funds for road repair.

This will be the first time that the Council is using a state-approved call-in process during its virtual meetings to take residents’ comments and questions. If you would like to submit a public comment, please write to comments@ci.agoura-hills.ca.us by 4:00 today, and put the agenda item in the subject line. If you would like to participate by phone, email your name and phone number to that email before the end of the public comment period.

“We need practice, and hope you will participate with us,” said Mayor Ilece Buckley Weber in an April 14 YouTube address, encouraging her constituents to join the meeting and help them fine-tune the calling-in process. “Whether it’s your first meeting or hundredth meeting, join us, and give us your input."
