NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Agoura Hills has scheduled a Public Hearing for the purpose of taking testimony related to the consideration of an Ordinance. Please see below for information on public participation.

CASE NO.: Case No. ZOA-01736-2020

LOCATION: Citywide

REQUEST: Request for the Planning Commission to adopt a Resolution recommending the City Council adopt an ordinance to: 1) amend Division 4 (Residential Density Bonus) of Part 3 (Special Permit or Review) of Chapter 6 (Regulatory Provisions) of Article IX (Zoning) of the Agoura Hills Municipal Code to revise Residential Density Bonus regulations to conform to State Density Bonus Law; and 2) make a determination of exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The Ordinance has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15282(h) and 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA guidelines. The Ordinance does not exempt any future project from CEQA, nor does it approve any development project.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: All interested parties are cordially invited to participate in this public hearing either by submitting written public comments by email or participating live by telephone. To submit written public comments, please include “Density Bonus Ordinance” in the subject line and email comments@ci.agoura-hills.ca.us by 4:00 p.m. on the meeting date and your comments will be distributed to the Planning Commission prior to the meeting. To participate live by telephone, please email your name and telephone number (including the area code) to comments@ci.agoura-hills.ca.us prior to the time the Chair closes the public comment period on the public hearing. City staff will call you at the appropriate time to receive your public testimony. Public testimony is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker. A speaker’s time may not be transferred to another speaker.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT State law requires the City to inform you that if you challenge the decision on this matter in court, you may be limited raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this Notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Reviewing Body at or prior to the Public Hearing.
