PUBLIC NOTICE
CDBG / - CARES ACT SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Agoura Hills has received additional CDBG funding, through the CARES ACT, in addition to the current fiscal year’s program. The posting of this notice is the beginning of five (5) day public review period, which begins Thursday, June 11, 2020, and runs through Thursday, June 18, 2020.

CARES ACT

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES ACT) has allocated approximately $44,646 to the City of Agoura Hills in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The City proposes to use these funds to help assist small businesses through the Conejo Valley Small Business Relief Fund as well as support for The Little Angels Project providing necessary food and medical services for pet owners within the City of Agoura Hills.

This Public Notice is amending the previous notification issued on May 8, 2020 thru May 15, 2020 that proposed the City would participate in a care package delivery program for seniors and qualifying vulnerable individuals. Unfortunately, the program was unable to meet the CDBG / CARES ACT requirements.

The public is invited to submit written comments to the City of Agoura Hills City Manager’s Department no later than 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
