The Agoura Hills Solo Photography Show Featuring Brian Valente
National Geographic award-winning photographer shows images of birds, landscapes and astronomical wonders he has captured around Socal.
The City of Agoura Hills and The Cultural Arts Council presents The Artists Series featuring a Solo Photography Show by Brian Valente at the Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center. The National Geographic award-winning photographer will be featuring imagery of birds, landscapes and astronomical wonders he has captured around Southern California. “Nature reveals its wonder when you take the time to contemplate it,” says Valente. “I look for moments to capture that are worthy of continuing thought and reflection.”
A professional photographer for 15 years, Valente said he was drawn to the art form growing up in northern California’s Marin County’s abundance of nature. “Photography became the way I could communicate the beauty I was witnessing.” He has been a two-time featured artist at Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival and his work is in standing collections that include Kaiser Permanente among other public locations. He has been featured on magazine covers and has received numerous awards and recognition in international photography, his work found in collections all over the world.
The Landscapes show will have limited editions of both large and small format pictures which Valente prints himself, as well as gift-sized items. In recognition of the recent tragic fires, Valente is donating a portion of all show sales to California Fire Relief Fund and to the Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation.
