• $114M California wildlife crossing to track animal happiness (amedpost.com) — A massive new wildlife bridge over the 101 Freeway in Agoura Hills is set to open December 2, reconnecting mountain lions, deer, and other animals cut off by traffic. Researchers will fit some animals with high-tech tracking tags to monitor heart rate, movement, and stress, hoping to learn whether the crossing truly makes wildlife safer and more comfortable in the Santa Monica Mountains.
