AGOURA HILLS, CA — Southern California Edison will perform "reframing" and hardware upgrades at Kanan Road and Canwood Street next week, city officials said Tuesday.
The work will take place from 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, until 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, prompting lane closures and possibly causing power outages.
Restricted access includes two southbound lanes on Kanan Road and the outside left-turn lane for southbound traffic on Canwood Street.
Reframing work involves physically changing the configuration of electricity transmission equipment. It wasn't announced what specific equipment changes or upgrades were planned.
Commercial and residential customers may experience a planned power outage during the work, officials said. Edison will notify affected customers in advance.
The work will also temporarily interrupt traffic signals at the intersection. Portable message boards will be placed in the area before work begins.
