Inspired By True Events 'Baby Sellers' Premieres Tonight On Lifetime at 8 p.m. Starring Kirstie Alley

The title tells it all, and it is from Lifetime Network, so don't prejudge this film. It's entertaining, a solid cast, a compelling subject matter and better than you'd expect. It premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on Lifetime with repeat viewing times.
Exposing the dark international criminal enterprise of infant trafficking and inspired by true events, Baby Sellers stars Kirstie Alley as Carla Huxley, a well-respected, influential owner of a major U.S.-based adoption agency that helps prospective parents fulfill their dream of having a family. While presenting an innocent veneer of kindness and good intentions to her trusting clients, behind the scenes Hughes functions as a ruthless international kingpin, controlling an expansive syndicate spanning the world and manned by subordinates authorized to use any means necessary to procure children for her business. Jennifer Finnigan stars as Nicole Morrison, the dedicated, tough-as-nails Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who believes Hughes is fueling a global business that stops at nothing to find the right child for the right owner - at the right price - and goes undercover to bring her sordid operation down.
Sandi Berg is also a freelance journalist and writes about television for several magazines including Written By (Writer's Guild of America), Life After 50 and Whole Life Times Magazine.
