Big Name Sponsors Run to Align with Great Race of Agoura Hills

BIG NAME SPONSORS RUN TO ALIGN WITH  GREAT RACE OF AGOURA HILLS

and Local Brands Supporting Conejo Valley’s Longest Running and Most Successful

Racing Event

AGOURA HILLS, CA (Tues., Feb 4) -- The Great Race of Agoura

Hills is thrilled to announce that a full slate of sponsors has joined – or

extended – their partnerships with the region’s largest fitness event.

A handful of three-year extensions was recently completed:      

• Dole
  
  has renewed its agreement to serve as the title sponsor through 2016. 2014 is
  
  the 11th year Dole has served as title sponsor.    
• Road
  
  Runner Sports will continue to be a Gold sponsor through 2016.
• Camp
  
  Kinneret will be the title sponsor of the Family Fun Run through 2016.
• Oak Park
  
  Dentistry for Children renews their bronze sponsorship. They have sponsored the event since 1988.

Additionally, such notable national brands as Equinox (5K) and Arrowhead Water (10K) signed on as title sponsors of individual

races; and Northwestern Mutual agreed

to a one-year deal to become the event’s presenting sponsor.

Plus, local business Evolution

Audio & Video returns as a prize sponsor, PostalAnnex signs on as a Bronze sponsor and Neftin Westlake Volkswagen/Mazda is again a Gold sponsor. Neftin

has been a sponsor for all 29 years of the Great Race’s existence.

“We couldn’t put on the quality event that our runners and

the community have come to expect without the generosity of our sponsors,” said

race director Danny Greenberg.

“Their support helps make this one of California’s truly great running events.”

This year’s Great Race of Agoura Hills takes place on Saturday,

March 22 and features six events: Chesebro Half Marathon (mostly trail

course), Pacific Half Marathon (road course), Arrowhead Water Old Agoura 10K,

Equinox 5K, Camp Kinneret Family Fun Run and the Kids Mile.

One of the largest single private contributors to education

in the region, the Great Race has donated more than $1.6 million dollars to

local schools since its inception, including $500,000 in the last five years.
