Body Of Lost Hiker Found On Thousand Oaks Trail
A lost Thousand Oaks hiker was found dead on a trail, a day and a half after he was reported missing.
AGOURA HILLS, CA — The body of a Thousand Oaks local was found after he went missing on a local hiking trail nearly two days before, the Thousand Oaks Acorn reported.
James Ledbetter was found by other hikers on the Sunrise Trail in Thousand Oaks early Sept. 2 with a head injury that police concluded was caused by a fall.
Ledbetter was reported missing in the evening on Aug. 31 by his wife. He had no serious medical conditions and was reportedly very experienced with outdoor activities like hiking.
