Agoura High School girls water polo teams all go undefeated in Marmonte League play
It seems every Marmonte League girls water polo season, Agoura High School (AHS) teams just get tougher to beat. And, yesterday's sweep over the Westlake Warriors made clear why–these girls are not just playing around when it comes to the competition. They're in it to win.
All three levels (Varsity, JV and Frosh Soph) Wednesday capped off an undefeated in league season, earning the program its thirteenth Marmonte League crown - which is, in fact, nearly one every season since the girls water polo program's . And, their decisive wins over Westlake (Varsity ruled 14-3; Jr Varsity shut out the Warriors 6-0; Frosh Soph dominated 11-3) marked a number of other significant and historical milestones, too.
The Varsity team has now racked up an impressive eight consecutive Marmonte League titles. The Jr Varsity team win gave them their fifteenth consecutive crown, and the Frosh Soph team earned its ninth back-to-back league championship. The Chargers' league winning streak now extends to 98 games in a row.

"Thank you to the girls for all your hard work and dedication; to the parents and fans for your support, and to Coach Peter [Schiaveli] for all your time, hard work and words of wisdom. Best of luck to the Varsity this Friday vs. Harvard/Westlake and throughout your playoff run. I am proud of all of you and all we have accomplished this season," Coach Rosenthal added.
CIF champions in 2001 and 2007, the Chargers this season are ranked No. 3 in the CIF-Southern Section Division 2 poll. "Last year we lost in quarter finals," said Varsity defender, Aley Vilches. "But, we are all so excited and determined to win CIF - even though our division is difficult."

You definitively demonstrate what is required to thrive and excel despite your substandard and inadequate training environment.
A championship level pool for Agoura High School's championship teams is well warranted.
You've earned it!
