Forward Progress Stopped In Agoura Hills Brush Fire

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Firefighters stopped forward progress of a three-acre brush fire burning in Agoura Hills near Kanan and Agoura roads Tuesday morning. They plan to remain on scene for mop up efforts for about two hours, according to authorities.

The fire, burning below Ladyface Mountain, was first reported before 9 a.m. Tuesday. Forward progress had stopped by 9:30 a.m.

Kanan Road was closed between Mulholland Drive and Cornell Road Tuesday morning.

The fire was about three acres and in light brush. No structures were threatened and no evacuations were planned, according to authorities.
