On Saturday, October 10, Conejo Open Space Foundation (COSF) will host its fifth annual Native Plantpalooza & Eco Fest. This free family event will be held at Conejo Creek North Park from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and will feature dozens of eco-themed exhibitors, including native plant vendors, beekeepers, wildlife rehab specialists, and herpetologists.
Attendees can learn about native plants, water-wise gardening, and get tips on living more sustainably. Over 35 exhibitors will have fun, creative activities for children, including microscope explorations, touch-and-talk tables about wildlife, plus coloring and crafts. Exhibitors will also have native plants and other eco-related goodies for sale, as well as plenty of giveaways and swag.
Returning exhibitors include the California Wildlife Center, Citizens Climate Lobby, Food Forward, Southwestern Herpetologists Society and the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing. And, COSF will welcome the Ojai Raptor Center for the first time.
