Car Drives Into Ditch In Agoura Hills, Dangerous Roadways
California Highway Patrol is responding to a car that drove into a ditch in Agoura Hills Thursday as rain creates dangerous conditions.
AGOURA HILLS, CA — California Highway Patrol rescued two elderly individuals in a sedan from a ditch Thursday morning at Cornell Road near Mulholland Highway after a mudslide.
The car was still stuck at 2903 Cornell Road as of 10:35 a.m. but the two individuals were safely out of the vehicle, according to CHP. The roadway was not passable to motorists as of 10:40 a.m. because of the mudslide. CHP and the California Department of Transportation closed the road to clean up the mud.
There was no estimate on when the road would reopen as of 10:40 a.m. Thursday.
