Cause Of Death Released For Man In Mugu Rock Aircraft Crash
The crash occurred in July near Mugu Rock. One man survived with minor injuries, while the other was unresponsive.
AGOURA HILLS, CA – The Ventura County Medical Examiner's office released cause of death information regarding the man who died near Mugu Rock after an ultralight aircraft crash in July. Agoura Hills resident William Watson, 56, survived the crash landing on the water, but drowned while making his way towards the shore that afternoon, officials told Ventura County Star.
The second man involved in the crash, reported to be in his mid-50s, received minor injuries, according to USA Today. Both men were transported to St. John's Regional Medical Center after the crash, but Watson was unresponsive upon his departure, authorities reported.
