Earth Day In Agoura Hills- Community Connection

Everyone display a colorful earth, or Earth Day icon, in their windows at home. We want to see how you pay tribute to special "Earth Day".

April 20, 2020

Join Mayor Buckley Weber in the first iteration of Community Connection, a citywide effort to connect the community through social media in these trying times. It is our hope that everyone will join in the effort, which will culminate in the Mayor’s Art Show/Special Event at the Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center in the fall.

There are three different things you can do to be connected!

1. Color and display the art icon in a window in the front of your house, then take a picture of it, post it on social media, and use the hashtag provided.
2. Write a story, poem, or something about our topic and email it to us: culturalarts@ci.agoura-hills.ca.us
3. Draw a picture about our topic and email it to us: culturalarts@ci.agourahills.ca.us

We want to know what you are doing while you are at home. As Mayor Buckley Weber addresses the community each week, in the “Mayor’s Address,” she reminds us that we are in this together- #agourahillstogether

FOR EARTH DAY

Everyone display a colorful earth, or Earth Day icon, in their windows at home. We want to see how you pay tribute to the special “Earth Day - 50 Year Celebration.” You can color an Earth, write a story about clean air and clean water, or draw a picture of what Earth Day means to you, or what a clean earth looks like to you! Hashtag it, or email to us: culturalarts@ci.agoura-hills.ca.us
