Monti Ellison is an accomplished percussionist/drummer, composer and performer. As a dance musician he spent 15 years at the Alvin Ailey School in New York where he was head staff musician. He teaches African Dance and drumming; he is an accompanist and faculty member at Loyola Marymount University, Chapman University, Orange Coast College, CSU Long Beach and The Wooden Floor.
