Win Great Prizes at “Poker for a Cause” and Help Needy So Cal Kids
Serious poker players and novices alike are invited to a “Texas Hold'em” Poker Tournament, "Poker for A Cause," to win great prizes while raising money for So Cal non-profit City Hearts: Kids Say Yes to the Arts.
- Poker tournament maven Big Al Weiss hosts the event, which boasts a prize pool of up to $5,000 for the top three winners, along with scores of serious raffle prizes.
- A certificate for $1,000 in Susan Foster fine jewelry will be given away.
- The entry fee for tournament players is $100 with unlimited Re-Buys and Add-Ons for $50.
- Non-tournament guests pay just $20 to enter and play casino-style games including Black Jack, Roulette and Poker at the Learners’ Table. Beverages are included.
- All proceeds will benefit Los Angeles-based non-profit City Hearts, which has been providing critically acclaimed classes in Music, Dance, Theatre, Playwrighting, Art and Self-Esteem to more than 600 students per week for the past 26 years. City Hearts improves grades, decreases the drop-out rate, and inspires kids to break the cycle of poverty, gangs, drugs and illiteracy.
