The Triunfo YMCA Flag Football League is starting its ninth season. A signup day will take place Sunday, September 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Chumash Park (5550 Medea Valley Dr. Agoura Hills). The season begins December 1 with Saturday games and practices.
The eight-game league includes four divisions for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade: kindergarten-first grade, second-third grades, fourth-fifth grades and sixth through eighth grades. "The semi-competitive, co-ed league teaches kids the essentials of teamwork while having fun," says Tom LoBianco, Triunfo Y's sports coordinator. "No prior playing experience is necessary."

Each participant receives a jersey and trophy. The cost is $145 plus a $40 membership fee for YMCA nonmembers.
