Firefighters Tackle Agoura Hills Home Blaze
A chimney fire spread in a 7,000 square-foot Agoura Hills home.

A chimney fire that broke out in a 7,000-square-foot home in Agoura Hills went to a second alarm tonight.
There were no immediate reports of injuries as a result of the fire, reported at 7:28 p.m. at 3847 Castle View Drive, said Kyle Sanford, supervising dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire was in the home’s chimney and the walls on either side, Sanford said.

About 50 firefighters responded and had the flames knocked down by 8:10 p.m., said county fire Capt. Brian Jordan.
The cause was determined to be accidental, he said without elaborating.
