Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools Plans Annual Carnival

Looking for some good ol’ fashioned family fun? The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools is hosting a back-to-school carnival, bringing three days of family fun and entertainment to the community.

The event will take place at Whizin Market Square (28914 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills) Sept. 12-14.

Admission to the carnival is FREE and proceeds benefit the Las Virgenes Unified School District.

“We believe that at the base of a strong community is a strong school district,” said Deanna Glassberg, president of The Foundation. “Many people moved to this area for the quality schools and we believe they will come out to the carnival to support them.”

The carnival will have rides for all ages including a ferris wheel, fun house, giant slide and many more. There will also be great food, fun games and fantastic prizes.

Carnival hours are Friday 5-11 p.m, Saturday noon-11 p.m. and Sunday noon-10 p.m. Buy early and save. The pre-sale price for one-day wristbands, good for unlimited rides on Saturday or Sunday from noon-6 p.m., is $30 (save $5) and 20-ride tickets is $15 (save $5). Most rides require three to five tickets.
