We all have busy schedules and finding some girl time can be tricky. But I get kind of cranky if I don't carve out some "me" time every now and then, so when my girlfriend, who I never get to see, because she lives all the way in Woodland Hills, suggested we meet at for a quick Happy Hour cocktail while her son took a music lesson at , I jumped at the chance. Moz has a fabulous Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.  Well drinks and selected wines are only $5 and yummy appetizers are passed around for free.  Some of the wonderful things we've had put on our plates are BBQ duck and shitake mushroom egg rolls, spicy ahi tempura rolls, calamari, chicken satay, and tempura shrimp. And when my girlfriend and I are very wicked, we order the Kick Ass Blue Cheese Fries. They are to die for! The vibe at Happy Hour is very casual. There are often businessmen and women enjoying camaraderie and a quick drink before heading home, as well as friends gathering before a night out on the town. The bar is never too busy, but never dead either. I think Goldilocks would call it just right. My advice? Feed your family an early dinner, rush on over to Moz for some apps and a $5 dirty martini (extra olives please), catch up on all the latest dish with your favorite mommy friends, and be home in time to watch American Idol with the kids. You've definitely earned it!
