"Holidays In The Village" Seeks Sponsors & Vendors

The 2nd Annual Holidays in the Village, A European Marketplace is seeking sponsors as well as food, artisan and craft vendors.

The 2nd Annual Holidays in the Village, A European Marketplace is seeking sponsors as well as food, artisan and craft vendors. The marketplace is Sunday, December 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Lakeview Canyon Road and Agoura Road (adjacent to Stonehaus) in Westlake Village. It is hosted by the two Rotary Clubs of Westlake Village--Sunrise and Noon--and the City of Westlake Village.

Last year, Holidays in the Village attracted over 8,500 visitors. The traditional holiday-themed European festival showcases artisan shops, authentic European foods and baked goods, specialty brews and wines, apple cider and hot cocoa. A Kris Kringle children's village features Kris Kringle and the Grinch and a village train. Carolers and live music provide entertainment throughout the day. New this year is Le French Quarter serving champagne, mimosas, baked croissants and pastries. The European Marketplace allows visitors to shop for holiday gifts in a fun, festive atmosphere.

"Holidays in the Village was an absolutely wonderful experience for everyone in its first year," says Erin Culbertson, chair. "The community quickly embraced the idea of an outdoor festival during the holidays. It adds to the warmth and joy of the season. We expect it to be even bigger this year.”
