Jamie Foxx Rescues Driver Trapped in Hidden Valley Fiery Crash
A suspected drunken driver has the Hollywood star to thank for saving his life.
Actor Jamie Foxx pulled a suspected drunken driver from a fiery crash in a drainage ditch near his home in Hidden Valley on Monday, the Calfornia Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened at around 8:30 p.m. Monday, according to the CHP
The driver, identified as Brett Kyle, 32, of Newbury Park, was speeding westbound on Potrero Road, east of Hidden Valley Road when he struck a drainage pipe and concrete, causing his 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck to roll over multiple times, according to the CHP.

The truck landed the passenger-side door, caught on fire and trapping Kyle inside, the CHP said. Two witnesses, one of whom was Foxx, ran to help Kyle. One of the witnesses retrieved tools from his vehicle to break the glass and the two pulled Kyle out, the CHP said.
Foxx reportedly heard the crash and someone screaming and ran to help, according to Joel Council, who also witnessed the crash.

Kyle was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, the CHP reported.
Kyle suffered major head, chest, neck and waist injuries, according to the CHP.
He was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the CHP.
