Local YMCAs Host Winter Camps in Moorpark, Simi Valley and Agoura Hills

Local YMCAs will be hosting winter camps in Moorpark, Simi Valley and Agoura Hills.

Local YMCAs will be hosting winter camps in Moorpark, Simi Valley and Agoura Hills. The camps coincide with winter breaks for area school districts.

The Conejo Valley YMCA will be hosting winter camps in Moorpark. The dates are December 26 through December 30 and January 2 through January 6. The camp will be held at Peach Hill Academy (13400 Christian Barrett, Moorpark). The camp is open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade attending school in the Moorpark Unified School District and the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Camp hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Simi Valley Family YMCA will be hosting its winter camp from December 22 through December 26 and January 3 through January 9. Camp is open to students in kindergarten through sixth grades at Arroyo Elementary, Atherwood Elementary, Katherine Elementary and White Oak Elementary. Camp hours are 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Triunfo YMCA camp will be held at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Drive, Agoura Hills) and is open to all kindergarten through eighth grade students in the Las Virgenes Unified School District. Camp dates are December 19 through December 23 and December 27 through December 30. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:0 p.m. The first week will be Legos focused while the second week’s theme will be “Minecraft Mania.”
