Man Killed On 101 Freeway In Agoura Hills Identified
Edgardo Hernandez, 27, died at the scene of his injury, which occurred about 2:30 a.m. Monday on the freeway at Kanan Road.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Authorities Wednesday identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway in Agoura Hills.
Edgardo Hernandez, 27, died at the scene of his injury, which occurred about 2:30 a.m. Monday on the freeway at Kanan Road, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His home town was not known.
A witness told the California Highway Patrol that a male pedestrian with dark clothing was standing in middle lanes of the freeway waving at traffic, and vehicles were swerving to avoid hitting him, said CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.

It was then reported that a vehicle had struck the man, according to the CHP.
