AGOURA HILLS, CA — Authorities Wednesday identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway in Agoura Hills. Edgardo Hernandez, 27, died at the scene of his injury, which occurred about 2:30 a.m. Monday on the freeway at Kanan Road, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His home town was not known. A witness told the California Highway Patrol that a male pedestrian with dark clothing was standing in middle lanes of the freeway waving at traffic, and vehicles were swerving to avoid hitting him, said CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
