The Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park is hosting its annual harvest festival that will feature “Trunk or Treat” on Saturday, October 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Village shopping center (320 Las Brisas, Newbury Park). The community is invited to attend

Trunk or Treat participants decorate their car trucks with harvest and Halloween decorations and are encouraged to pass out treats to festivalgoers age 13 and under. The festival will also feature free carnival games and activities and prizes for the best costumes and best car decorations. “It’s an opportunity to meet your neighbors and for the whole family to dress up and have fun,” says Courtney Krajeski, the Miller Y’s healthy living director. Food will be available for purchase.

To participate in Trunk or Treat, contact Fiona Kenny at fkenney@sevymca.org. For information on becoming a festival vendor, contact Krajeski, ckrajeski@sevymca.org or call 805-480-0409.
