National Night Out on Tuesday

The goal of the annual event is to strengthen ties between community members and police officers.

The annual National Night Out campaign aimed at promoting community spirit and strong partnerships with law enforcement is being held at several locations Tuesday throughout the Southland.

Calabasas

The is hosting a barbecue at at 6 p.m. 5100 Parkville Road.

Shadow Ranch Park (22633 Vanowen Street) from 6 pm to 8 pm

Activities: The theme will be “Child Safety” and will include many fun activities for the kids along with great information for parents.

Canoga Park

Guadalupe Center (21699 Hart Street) from 4 pm to 7 pm

Activities:  Numerous games/activities for kids, LAPD car “cut out” photo booth, food and more!

Woodland Hills

Woodland Hills Elementary School (22201 San Miguel Street) from 6 pm to 8 pm

Activities: The theme will be “Target Crime."  There will be some games for the children, small give-aways and food catered by Field’s Market.
