THOUSAND OAKS, CA – For fans of art and the ocean, Robert Scopinich's paintings will be on display and for sale from August 26 through September 28 at the Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center at King Gillette Ranch. Scopinich's work conveys the "integral nature of the ocean and the life it inspires," according to the press release.
A “Meet the Artist” reception with light refreshments will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, and a portion of the funds from art sales will be donated to continue arts in the park.

The visitor center, which is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is located at 26876 Mulholland Highway, Calabasas, CA 91302. The show and event are sponsored by the National Park Service and Western National Parks Association.
