Police Blotter: A Desperate Gamer and An Angry Waiter

A waiter throws a fit, a gamer wants his Playstation and someone needed navigation.

Acts of vandalism make our police blotter today, as does house and car break-ins.  March proves to be another busy month for  deputies.

Fed-up waiter retaliates

A waiter serving a large party of diners at Grissini Restaurant on Agoura Rd. intentionally broke a computer worth $1400 at 8:30 p.m. on March 3, according to a police report.  Witnesses say the waiter became frustrated with his customers, walked into the kitchen, where the computer was located, and punched it.

Criminal Gamers

Someone broke into a home on the 5000 block of Tennyson Ave. sometime between 5:30 p.m. on March 11 and 7:30 a.m. on March 14, and stole a Playstation 3 worth $300. The culprit also took  $400 worth of compatible video games.

The Tom Tom thief

A Tom Tom portable navigation GPS system worth $160 was stolen from the backseat of a car parked in the driveway on the 5000 block of Ridgebrook Dr.  The crime occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. on March 13 and 12:30 a.m. March 14. Police report there was no obvious signs of break-in, and the means of entry is unknown.

Plugging up the holes

A property owner lost $7,000 worth of work after vandals filled in test water holes created by  the on land located at Crags Dr. and Lookout Dr. The incident reportedly occurred sometime between December of 2010 and March 10.  The holes were created so the the district could test the ground water table for sewage purposes prior to building a home.  The holes were found covered over with dirt and debris.
