Relaxation and Stress Reduction

We are going to have Relaxation class to help you with stress reduction and anxiety symptoms while we practice guided meditation, sometimes we will experience silence mediation to help you enjoy a better quality of life, especially if you have an illness.

We will explore relaxation techniques that is going to have an immediate affect on well being.

The benefits of relaxation techniques can help with all situations!

For example; when you are facing with numerous responsibilities and tasks or the demands of an illness, relaxation techniques will help you to take a break from your busy life. Practicing relaxation techniques can reduce stress symptoms by:

• Slowing your heart rate.

• Lowering blood pressure.

• Slowing your breathing.

• Rate Increasing blood flow to major muscles.

• Reducing muscle tension and chronic pain.

• Improving concentration.

• Reducing anger and frustration.

• Boosting confidence to handle problems.

In order to get the most benefit of our mediation, we will use relaxation techniques along with other positive coping methods, such as stretching, walking, getting enough sleep, and reaching out helping each other.
