Reyes Adobe Day Highlights
It's not too late to join the fun at RAD! Festival continues through Sunday, 10/15, 11am to 4pm
Agoura Hills has welcomed thousands into the city to eat, play and shop at the annual Reyes Adobe Days festival. Throughout the weekend, all ages are experiencing local culture, past and present, at the Senior Fiesta, Night at the Adobe, RADruns, parade, and the Day at the Adobe free family festival.
In celebration of the 2028 Olympics coming to Los Angeles, grand marshal for this year’s event is former Agoura Hills resident and 2004 Olympian Deena Kastor who won the Bronze Medal for the marathon in Athens, Greece. Kastor attended local public schools, graduating from Agoura Hills High School in 1991. “It’s great to take part in Reyes Adobe Days. Everything about the event represents the good life we are fortunate to indulge in by choosing to live here,” said Kastor. At Saturday’s RADruns she got runners off to an encouraging start on 10mile and 10K courses.
She also presided over the Reyes Adobe Day parade that featured local schools, business, nonprofits and public community services. Award-winning entries included Yerba Buena School, Agoura High School, The Ballet Folklorico Cielto Lindo of Simi Valley and the National Wildlife Federation.

A day at the adobe featured rancho activities for the kids and local craft beer and boutique shopping for adults. Everyone took part in this year’s interactive art gallery with old-fashioned art projects: rocking painting, creative stick wrapping, mason jar decorating and more. Look for the painted rocks which will be placed around the city after the event as part of the Kindness Rock project.
The free festival, sponsored by Agoura Hills Dental Group, continues through Sunday, featuring the following entertainment:
