Reyes Adobe Day Highlights

Agoura Hills welcomed thousands into the city to join the community for a RAD weekend of cultural fun and discovery.

Agoura Hills welcomed thousands of people from around the area to join the community for a weekend of discovering local culture, both past and present, at the 14th Annual Reyes Adobe Days. Seniors kicked off the festival weekend with a fiesta, enjoying a Mexican buffet, colorful entertainment and tours of the Reyes Adobe Historical Site. The Night at the Adobe cultural arts fundraiser was an adult evening of beer and wine tasting, catered food stations, music, artistic expression, and artisan shopping under the stars.

Rancho history was a highlight of the weekend Day at the Adobe free family festival full of interactive historical demonstrations, pony rides, petting zoo and performances. Present day discoveries included local craft breweries, food trucks, photo stations, art projects led by Create Studio, and shopping. The NFL RAMS Team was Grand Marshal for the Saturday Reyes Adobe Days parade and represented by veteran player Roland Williams along with team cheerleaders who met with the public for photo ops.

The mile-long RAD parade featured entries by local schools, business, nonprofits and public community services with RAD sponsor Las Virgenes Municipal Water District taking the parade award for best float. Other award-winning entries were the Agoura 4-H Club, Agoura High School, and The Ballet Folklorico Cielto Lindo of Simi Valley.
