Santa Will Visit This Year's Agoura Hills Holiday Boutique

The annual holiday boutique is on, Agoura Hills, and it will feature local venders and a nearby visit from Santa Clause.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — The Agoura Hills annual holiday boutique is back after a pandemic-related hiatus in 2020, and it will look a little different this year.

The boutique, which runs Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature around 15 booths with mostly locally-made goodies, said Kimberly Hollands, Cultural Event Coordinator for the city. Vendors will include handcrafted jewelry, pottery, holiday decor and gifts, wooden designs, candles and more. Many returning vendors will feature their work alongside new artisans, Hollands said.

Along with local artisan booths perfect for holiday shopping, Santa Claus will be next door to this years' boutique; the annual Santa at the Adobe event, which usually happens at the Reyes Adobe historical site, will happen in tandem with the boutique this year at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center.

Given Santa's presence, the holiday event will also mark the beginning of the city's letters to Santa initiative launched last Christmas, which will run through December. Agoura Hills residents can hand deliver their Christmas lists to Santa Friday and Saturday and some may even get a letter back.

Hollands said the city was overwhelmed by the number of letters submitted last year.

Proceeds from the boutique will support the Agoura Hills Cultural Arts Council's scholarship programs for local students.

Saturday will also be the last days to view the CommUNITY Art Show at the recreation center, featuring work from local artists.
